Being grateful entails us being thankful. It is a practice we need to nurture. I believe this is one of the simplest habits one can cultivate. When we count our blessings, we can condition our mind to look for the good in every situation.

Being grateful is defined as showing an appreciation of something done or received.

The word gratitude comes from the Latin word gratia, which means graciousness or grateful. Therefore, gratitude simply implies a warm feeling of thankfulness towards someone who has done something good for us.

Every day we can look for things to be grateful for. Being grateful in every situation makes it easier for us to cultivate ourselves with gratitude.
