What is our Purpose?

I believe that the most important purpose we all have in life is to be happy.

I believe that the most important purpose we all have in life is to be happy.

The Dalai Lama said, “It doesn’t matter what religion you believe in or not.” We are all seeking something better in life, and the very motion towards what we want to achieve is happiness. The Dalai Lama mentioned that happiness can be achieved through training the mind. We can transform our mind and feelings by practising inner discipline and transforming our attitudes and approach to living.

Begin by identifying the factors that lead to happiness and then those that lead to suffering. Then we begin to eliminate every factor that leads to suffering and focus our attention on feeding and cultivating those factors that lead to happiness.

The more we practise this concept, the more we are training the mind to think and focus only on the factors that lead to happiness.

Give every day the chance to become the most beautiful of your life.

— Mark Twain (1835–1910)
